Our Story

On 1 March 2001, Dolphin Motors officially opened its doors at the very same premises where Riaan had worked for many years. The business began with two technicians and a determination to provide exceptional workmanship and personal service.

In those early days, every invoice was handwritten, with Riaan working on vehicles during the day and completing paperwork by hand in the evenings.

More than two decades later, Dolphin Motors has grown into a trusted independent workshop serving customers from all 4 provinces in South Africa.

We are a proud member of the Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI), and our continued 5-Star RMI rating reflects our commitment to quality workmanship, honest advice, professional service and outstanding aftercare.

Today, Dolphin Motors has 7 fully qualified technicians, 2 dedicated Service Advisors, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and an actively involved Workshop Manager on-site every day. We also offer a comprehensive Roadworthy Service, managing the entire process on behalf of our customers for a convenient, hassle-free experience. We consist of a Passenger Car Division and a Commercial Truck & Bus Division, each with its own designated space, creating a professional work environment.
